2003 | photography project as part of the research I did for Argentinian filmmaker Desanzo on women who stood up against the Videla regime (1976-1983).

I made a portrait of Chicha Mariani, one of the founding 'grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo'. She lost her son and daughter-in-law after a military raid. They operated a clandestine press in their backyard. Chicha Mariani discovered that her granddaughter, Clara Anahi, was abducted and adopted by an influential family of the military. She has been searching for her granddaugher since.
